On one hand, "Pajama Sam in: There's no Need to Hide when it's Dark Outside" is the original, classic version of "Pajama Sam." But the game's developer, Humongous Entertainment, did do a stellar job on the second version, "Pajama Sam in: Thunder and Lightning Aren't so Frightening." The second version of Pajama Sam is arguably better than the first because it was more difficult, thus offering more challenge to young players (and somewhat extending the length of the game in the process).
